Detailed introduction

Although differential pressure flow meters represented by orifice plates, nozzles, venturi tubes and velocity equalizing tubes have gone through a long process of development and made important contributions to flow in a certain period, people always feel a little regretful when using the above-mentioned flow sensors because they have never solved the problems of low accuracy, narrow measurement range, easy wear, high requirements for on-site installation conditions, and the inability to measure mixed-phase flow and dirty flow. In view of this, many flow experts at home and abroad are committed to the research and development of new differential pressure flow sensors to make up for the shortcomings of orifice plates, nozzles, venturi tubes and velocity equalizing tubes. Various special throttling elements emerge in endlessly, and the V-cone flow sensor is one of the best. It also uses the throttling effect to measure flow. Compared with other throttling elements, it changes the throttling layout from the traditional center hole throttling to annular throttling. That is, the V-cone sensor uses a linear cone suspended in the center of the pipe to gradually shrink the fluid into the pipe. Side wall, this novel throttling effect makes it have self-rectifying, self-cleaning, and self-protection characteristics. Judging from a large number of actual on-site usage situations, the flow measurement effect of the V-cone sensor is better than that of other differential pressure sensors. It opens a new page for the use of differential pressure flow meters. The technical features of AVZ series V-cone flow sensor are as follows:

1. High accuracy: +-0.5%. When customizing V cones with β<0.55, the highest accuracy can reach +-0.1%.

2. Good repeatability: 0.1%

3. The output differential pressure is stable: the negative pressure end at the tail of the V cone has small fluctuations

4. Low lower limit of measurement: minimum output differential pressure 25Pa

5. Range ratio: up to 10:1~50:1

6. Small permanent pressure loss: only 1/3 to 1/2 of the orifice plate

7. With self-rectification function: can measure mixed-phase flow

8. With self-cleaning function: no debris retained, suitable for dirty flow measurement

9. Install the straight pipe section with short length: 0~3D upstream, 0~1D downstream

10. Good long-term stability: the fluid is gradually shrunk to the inner wall of the pipe, causing little wear on the V-cone.

11. Can measure high-temperature fluids: <600°C. It is difficult for other flow meters to measure such high-temperature fluids.
