4-72 B4-72 F4-72 centrifugal fan

I. Purpose of the fan

The 4-72 centrifugal fan can be used for indoor ventilation in general factories and large buildings, transporting air and other non-flammable, non-toxic gases that are non-corrosive to steel. The B4-72 fan is suitable for ventilation of flammable and volatile gases. The gas must not contain viscous substances, and the dust and hard particles should not exceed 150mg/m³. The gas temperature must not exceed 80℃. If the temperature exceeds 80℃, please contact the technical department.
   The performance, selected components, and foundation dimensions of the B4-72 fan are consistent with those of the 4-72 type, and can be selected according to its sample. The structure of this fan is basically the same as that of the 4-72 type. The NO2.8-6A model adopts a B35-type motor with flanges and feet, while the NO6CD-20B model uses the YB series corresponding to the Y series in the table, with the installation type being B3.

The F4-72 model features an all-fiberglass body, primarily designed for conveying corrosive gases containing acidic, alkaline, or highly humid vapors.

 

II. Structure

In the 4-72 type fan, models 2.8#-6# are mainly composed of components such as the impeller, casing, and air inlet, directly coupled with the motor. Models 6#-20#, in addition to the aforementioned parts, also include a transmission assembly.
   1. The impeller consists of 10 backward-inclined airfoil blades, a curved front disc, and a flat rear disc.
   2. The casing is made in two different types. The 2.8#–12# casing is made as a single piece and cannot be disassembled. The 16#–20# casing is made in a three-part split type, divided horizontally along the centerline into two halves, with the upper half further split vertically along the centerline into two parts, connected by bolts. The above types can also be modified according to customer requirements.
   3. The air inlet is integrally made and installed on the side of the fan. The section balanced with the axial direction is curved in shape, allowing gas to enter the impeller with minimal loss.
   4. The transmission group consists of the main shaft, bearing housing, rolling bearing, pulley, or coupling.
